The staff at NYC Hobbies is a collaboration that has been successful for the past 10 years due to the teamwork and enthusiasm of each and every one of its members.

NYC Hobbies is an expanding company that not only provides radio-controlled nitro or electric powered vehicles and accessories, but is run by a staff full of enthusiasm for the hobby itself.

Our staff is our family. Each employee at NYC Hobbies is also part of Team 1 NYC, and races competitively Rob McCabe (aka Sponge Bob) is the proprietor at NYC Hobbies with over 11 years of experience in racing electric touring cars 1/10 scale and 1/12 scale. His passion for providing the highest quality service to his customers reflects his excitement of racing his own vehicles. His enthusiasm is infectious, and sets the electrifying atmosphere of his store.

Vito Catalfamo (aka veetz) is also team mannager of NYC Hobbies, . He has over 20 years of experience in the field of radio-controlled vehicles and competitive racing. Vito's greatest concern is you. If you have any questions regarding cars, trucks, accessories, or racing, he will guarantee that you have answers when you leave the store.

Bobby Nassour (aka K-Bob) is an electric and gas powered vehicle specialist, who races competitively in 1/10,1/12,&1/18 scale touring cars.  K-Bob has been in this field for over 20 years, and intends to enjoy his career for years to come as a part of Team 1 NYC.

Phil Trotta.aka... (Big Phil) is also a technician at NYC Hobbies. Big Phil has been competing in1/8TH,1/10TH,1/12TH,1/18TH scale nitro& electric car racing for the past 10 years,and is an invaluble member of NYCHOBBIES.

Sean Powers

is the owner of Power Paints,his slogan is..(LOOKIN FAST SITTIN STILL)...HE is also part of the NYC Hobbies family. He provides painting for major manufacturers of radio-controlled vehicles, and has been racing off-road electric buggies and trucks 1/10TH scale, as well as 1/12TH&1/10th scale indoor & outdoor cars for the past 6½ years. He also contributes to the energized atmosphere of NYC Hobbies.

Roland Shao has been racing nitro and electric 1/10TH and 1/12TH scale touring cars on indoor&outdoor tracks.He is also  a powerful force in the 1/24th&1/18th scale miniz side of the hobby with many wins under his belt& is an  important member of TEAM1NYC.
